

The Spanish National Court ruled that the employment contracts of cabin crew members with Crewlink and Workforce to provide services on Ryanair flights constitute an illegal hiring out of workers and that the real employer is Ryanair. The ruling means that some 400 cabin crew will be able to claim their right to be recognised as Ryanair workers and to have working conditions equivalent to those hired directly by the airline. An EASA Safety Information Bulletin (SIB) recommends aircrew to receive the coronavirus vaccine as soon as it becomes available to them. The Agency also recommends a 48-72h post-vaccination pause before engaging in flight-related tasks and a consult with an AME if side-effects persist for more than 48 hours following the vaccination.
