ECA calls upon Norwegian Air Resources management to listen to the voice of its pilots, as expressed in an online petition - which was signed by more than 550 Norwegian pilots - to recognize the Italian pilot union ANPAC immediately.

The Norwegian Pilot Group (NPG) unions are concerned by the information circulating that Norwegian Air Resources (NAR) Italy is considering recognising a non-pilot union for collective bargaining purposes. NPG are therefore asking NAR to recognize ANPAC, the professional association union of choice for Norwegian pilots in Italy with which has a membership of currently close to 100%.

ECA and the NPG call on NAR to react positively to the petition, which aims at a better, more professional relationship between pilots and their management, based on mutual respect and understanding.
